“Deanne and Hayley, thank you so much for sharing such an inspiring, practical and supportive course. It has given me the confidence to provide children with a multifaceted creative movement program. The games are really awesome. I especially like getting a small gruop of children to create a flow, then they teach it to another group. To facilitate this kind of creative mentoring, between child and child, as a teacher is a beautiful experience. I found all the material really helpful, it is something I will revisit again and again to be inspired by. I mostly work with young children 3-5 year olds. I have used the hoop cards mostly, I love them!! The more complex games I look forward to doing with older children in the future.”
“The Hoop Cards have become absolutely essential to my classes. I use them in the hoop circuits and to help the children sequence tricks and make up their own pieces. Hoop games like hoop freeze, rock and roll relay, 10 trick challenge and hoop says are the games I use over and over and are super popular! Fun tricks like kick up and hoop on head and stepping through are great tricks to liven up the classes and are a good way of linking activities. The Facebook group is a valuable source of support and further ideas or requests for help! Hoop cards, circuit style teaching of tricks, sequence ideas, advice and help being in a FB group. The same as above really. The Hoop Cards have become absolutely essential to my classes. I use them in the hoop circuits and to help the children sequence tricks and make up their own pieces. “I love the little circles toolbox - it really helped me to create my own style of hoopcourses for kids! I love the games and even learnt some new trick - like clap and catch isn't that easy as it looks ;-) I often use the vidoes of the tricks that are aproved with children and the videos of the games. It is really cool that you really show how the games work. Apart from that I loved the tutorial about how to create music for my class - this is really helpful because it makes my work in action less exhausting and I can concentrate much more on the kids. I really loved the videos about the games, especially Hoop Yaay and 10 Trick game and also the tutorial about how to create music for my class. I already used it to create Songs and it makes my work so much easier, if I do not have to watch out for the musik as it makes breaks and everything on its own.”
“This course is great. I feel that I am now well prepared to teach a hula hoop dance class to kids after taking the little circles course. Lots of useful information and really helps to boost your confidence level. This class makes sure you are guided through everything from marketing yourself to designing lesson plans to successful events. You also have a community on Facebook where you can bounce ideas off of each other. I have taught my first class and the kids loved it, I have a 2nd class already scheduled. Deanne and Haley are very knowledgeable and are good teachers. Children do learn differently than adults and it is good to have advice from two teachers who have so much experience. The trick cards and game suggestions. The sample hoop class agenda was a good starting point for creating my own. I feel the Facebook group is helpful too. It’s good to connect with others who have taken the class.”

“Groovy course with lots of fun tricks to teach children! Great ideas on how to teach the class and keep it organized!! I created a binder that helped me a lot. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering teaching a hoop class I created a 'Little Circles' binder, and got a lot of great ideas of hoop tricks to teach the kids. The videos were helpful in giving ideas on how to teach children. Great names for the tricks too! I created a folder to help me to stay organized.”
“Little Circles is a great primer for anyone with the desire to bring the joy of hula hooping to kids of all ages. It includes some great tools for teaching kids to hula hoop through games and fun exercises that are presented in an easy to understand and accessible way. I'v e mainly used the examples of games and teaching moves. I have watched the videos over and over again. The hoop cards have also been really useful as well as the list of places to approach for kids classes and workshops as my business is still developing. The video examples were really useful and enabled me to be able to fully understand how the games worked as sometimes it is difficult to visualise or understand the games just from written instructions. The sequences that put moves together were also really useful fro programming for children.”
“Little Circles has been a great resource that I can come back to over and over. I teach one time events and weekly classes where I use the material. Thank you for being an inspiration! Your encouragement, program and Little Circles community on Facebook have been great tools! The cards have been helpful even to keep me on schedule and not forget parts. I use them for the kids to put together routines as well. I use a tag, rolling games and step through the hoop. Building hula huts is a hit always. I am glad you included professional tips on the business basics. The games for sure! Tag while balancing a hoop and rock paper scissors is a favourite. The kids love clap and catch and balancing climb through is something I do with them. listening to your approaches and teaching tips for each activity and trick was very useful.”
“ The Little Circles course is an essential part of your professional development if you’re working with kids. It gets you down to their level and inspires you to be creative and have fun with your future hoop stars! The resources fill your toolbox with plenty of tricks to run workshops, classes, birthday parties and more. The games section and definitely the PDF resources. I was inspired to incorporate a lot more games and I’ve found the kids love them, I also discovered I could adapt hoops to other games and I’ve made a few of my own up! I love my trick cards, I use them for a circuit to drill tricks. I’ve printed and laminated those. They make for a great structured element to the session.”
