Escalators (as they are commonly referred to in hoop dance) have fast become one of the most popular moves for creativity and flow. They are neither off body nor on body moves essentially. What makes them so special is that they require a beautiful combination of hand and body coordination, the positioning of contact points in spiral pathways all over the body.
These gorgeous combinations defy gravity, elevate flow and allow hoopers to overcome their fear of letting go. To let go and let flow is the only way with Escalators.
Having said all of that they can take guidance and time to master. Int he beginning it can feel like flinging the hoop all over the place. That is why I created this workshop to guide you to tap into your CONTACT SPIRALS or the points on your hands and body that need to be in alignment at just the right time to make the escalator magic happen.
We start off with the foundations and move into a huge range of variations to unlock body awareness, hoop dance flow and a complete understanding of connection with hoop and movement.
