If you are new to hooping or working on strengthening your on body hooping skills then this is the online workshop for you.

Body hooping is the foundation of hoop dance; it is a workout, a dance, and playtime. This online workshop shares all the instruction & support you will need to kickstart your on body hoop dancing journey, from understanding the basic dynamics of keeping the hoop in rotation to more advanced on body manipulation.

This online workshop is designed to get you moving and grooving inside your hoop. With some play time and this workshop's guidance you will be enjoying the spectacular benefits of hooping; feeling and looking fabulous while having fun! A wonderful resource for all beginner hoopers as well as a great library for those teaching hoop dance to others; taking you from foundation through to flight.

Throughout this, On Body Hooping workshop we will work on some hoop drills that will accelerate your learning as well as your hoop fitness and strength. The hoop drills are a great compliment to your freestyle hoop dance and play. Try these hoop drills daily or weekly to maintain your hoop strength as you are progressing with your on body hooping.

In this workshop, I use a 95cm / 37" dance hoop made from HDPE pipe. A hoop of a similar size or larger is recommended for total beginners. When purchasing a hoop for the first time please talk to your hoop maker/seller about the right size for you.
